Amistad's exceptionally clear water makes it an excellent place for scuba diving. A dive cove is located at Diablo East. Use your dive flag, know your safe limits, and never dive alone.

Athens Scuba Park is a one-of-a-kind inland dive destination built around a spring-fed clay quarry. The park features submerged boats, airplanes, and training platforms. It is a shallow dive area.

Balmorhea State Park is a desert oasis filled with crystal-clear water from the San Solomon Springs. Visitors can swim, snorkel, or scuba dive in the refreshing, year-round 72–76°F waters.

The Texas Clipper is a massive 473-foot ship, sunk as an artificial reef. It attracts vibrant marine life like snapper, barracuda, and rays—making it a must‑dive for advanced divers.

The Valhalla Missile Silo is a decommissioned, flooded Atlas F intercontinental ballistic missile silo located near Wingate. It offers a surreal and eerie diving experience inside a Cold War relic.
